So I’ve managed to complete four anime this season, namely Chihayafuru, Another, Ano Natsu de Matteru, and Amagami SS S2. I’m still trying to work up the courage to complete Inu x Boku SS, Papa no Iukoto, and Daily Lives of High School Boys, but I can’t guarantee that I’ll be able to do that, so I’m going to focus on summarising what I thought of the ones I have actually finished. The Winter 2012 Anime I’m Watching

It’s been a while since I’ve done an anime article, so I thought I’d quickly list the anime I’m watching this season, and maybe provide an update at the end of the season with rough reviews of those that I did in fact finish.

Personal JRock and JPop highlights of 2011

After seeing a good few people listing their favourite albums and artists of 2011, I thought I’d follow suit and show some personal highlights of 2011 JRock, and JPop-wise. 2011 has been a great year, though because of how busy it was for me personally, I wasn’t able to find as many great albums as I did in 2010. Regardless, there are still some gems that came from the Japanese music scene in 2011, so find them within. Note that these are not in order of importance. They are simply listed in the order in which I remembered them.

The risky move back to PC gaming

OK. So the last week has been an interesting one on the gaming side of things. My Xbox 360 has recently started switching itself off after very short periods due to overheating, i.e. has gone the way of the dodo. Being my main gaming platform, I decided to see what my options were before I did the most natural thing which which would have been buying a replacement. Read on to see what my considerations were and what I ended up doing. Hint: the title of this post gives it away!

It Starts…. Again

It’s been a while since my blog has been, uh, working, but whether I plan on posting regular content or not, I feel like I owe it to myself as a Web developer to, at the very least, have a working personal Website, so I’ve put it back up again, this time on easier to manage hosting with MediaTemple.

I’m also pretty sure that this is not the latest backup of my site, so there may be some posts/comments missing, but it’s not like this blog was popular in the first place, so it’s not really a big deal.

Anyway, now I have another outlet besides Twitter to post meaningless YouTube videos and gaming news tidbits. Poor you.

I wouldn’t come back if I were you.
